Ingredients
- Milk 500ml
- Flour 50g
- Butter 50g
- Salt
- Nutmeg to taste
Instructions
- Heat the milk in a a pot apart.
- Melt the butter on low heat, once melted add the flour a little at a time.
- Add the milk a little at a time, stir constantly so as not to form lumps.
- Stir until it thickens, add salt and nutmeg.
- Cook until boiling it will take around 15 minutes.
- Make a Béchamel thicker for fillings or more liquid for seasoning.
