Ingredients
  1. 150g ground almonds with the peel
  2. 100g of butter
  3. 100g of sugar
  4. 100g of dark chocolate
  5. 3 eggs
  6. 2 tablespoons of liqueur or creme de cacao liqueur Strega or brandy (optional)
  7. One packet of baking powder
Instructions
  1. Take the butter out of the fridge for a couple of hours and add it to the sugar, stirring until to get a smooth cream.
  2. Add the beaten eggs and mix well.
  3. Then add the almonds and chocolate, finely chopped, mix with yeast and two tablespoons of liqueur.
  4. Grease and flour a baking pan and pour in the mixture.
  5. Put it in the preheat oven at 180 degrees for 50-55 minutes.
  6. When cooked, let it cool down cake and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
